We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant and inclusive secondary school in the heart of Tower Hamlets.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced support professional who is passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential and thrive both academically and personally.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

• Support teaching and learning across a range of subjects and year groups
• Deliver planned lessons and interventions in the absence of teaching staff
• Work closely with teachers to raise student achievement and engagement
• Provide targeted support for students with additional needs
• Contribute to a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
• Build strong relationships with students, staff and families

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds HLTA status or equivalent experience
• Has experience working within a secondary school setting
• Demonstrates excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Is confident leading small groups and whole-class learning
• Has a proactive, flexible and positive approach
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
