Role Overview As a CNC Miller, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Setting and/or programming CNC milling machines to produce precision components
- Working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications
- Carrying out first-off and in-process inspection checks using measuring equipment
- Adjusting offsets, tooling, and programmes to maintain quality and efficiency
- Supporting production targets while maintaining high standards
- Producing components to tight tolerances
- Maintaining clean, organised, and safe working areas
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven CNC milling experience
- Ability to set and/or programme CNC milling machines
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- A reliable and proactive approach
- Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, or similar controls
- Offline programming experience
- Background within high-precision or high-volume manufacturing
- £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
- Day and night shift options available
- Strong overtime potential
